Rodent Control Program
Suspected Rat or Mouse activity is usually the issue that leads a client to contact us. Mostly, someone has seen either a Mouse or Rat in their garden or workplace or spotted Rodent droppings as they are cleaning out a cupboard, shed or warehouse.
Don’t panic! – We are experts at solving Rodent activity safety, quickly and effectively.
How we will get things moving
Upon receiving your call or email, we will make a note of your name, address and contact information and make a firm appointment to attend your business or house at your earliest convenience.
When we arrive at your premise, our technician will:
If a commercial premise:
- Meet with your company representative and identify ourselves for company security reasons.
- Observe the Health and Safety policy of your business and sign in if required.
- Carry out a full and informed survey of the site, this will include asking any questions that may be relevant to an effective Rodent Control Program being set in place.
- Proceed to carry out a full risk assessment in the event of treatments going ahead and answer any questions you may have.
- A quotation will be sent via email. This will inform you of the plant, materials and products that will need to be implemented on the site for effective control of the Rodents.
If a private residence:
- Meet with the householder or tenant to discuss the perceived problem.
- Carry out a survey and risk assessment of the premises and report verbally to the householder, tenant or email the letting agent.
- Agree a Rodent Control Program with the relevant party by either email or verbally.
- Agree on a price and payment method.
What we will do during the work
At an agreed date and time our technicians will install the correct anti-tamper bait stations and/or traps stations to the exterior and/or interior of the site in question.
In the case of an ongoing commercial installation of the stations, a site plan will be provided, with the assistance of the client, to indicate the placement of all numbered stations for your Health and Safety files.
An e-Folder will be forwarded to your company representative containing all paperwork appertaining to the products and Rodent Control measures present on the site i.e.
- Data Sheets
- Risk Assessment
- Environmental Risk Assessment
- Insurance Details
- Health & Safety Policy
- Method Statement
- Copies of National Pest Technicians Association, Trading Standards and Waste Certificates.
- BSI Certificate of Registration – ISO 9001
- Site Plan featuring the stations
Once the job is completed
A full Report will be sent electronically to the client after each and every visit signed and dated by both parties.
In the case of private residents, our staff member will fill out a report sheet by hand and request a signature from the customer.
All Reports Sheets will contain details of any Rodent activity present on your site along with products present and recommendations, if any, to help us solve your pest problem. Given permission to do so, we will add your company email address to our mailing list, this will allow us to alert you to any special offers or legislation changes that may affect you in the future.
Payment will be taken and a receipt will be issued – All work is guaranteed.
Contract customers will be given 30 days credit by arrangement.
